Mindful Space Yoga and Meditation is a Registered Yoga School (RYS) with Yoga Alliance, which designates this teacher training program as one that follows Yoga Alliance’s standards. Students who complete verified training with this school are eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as Registered Yoga Teachers (RYTs). By completing this training students will also receive a 200 Hours Integrated Teacher Training Certificate under Yoga Alliance. 200-hour teacher training programs and in-depth yoga studies provide the necessary knowledge and skills to teach and practice yoga for the rest of one's life.

She has completed her 200-Hour Holistic Yoga Flow with Travis Elliot and Daniel Head and her E-RYT® 500 /, YACEP®. A Therapeutic Specialist with Yoga Medicine®under the guidance of Tiffany Cruikshank. She completed her modules around the world, from Costa Rica, Spain, Thailand, and the USA. To expand her understanding of Mindfulness and Meditation, she completed Calming the Mind with Cortland Dahl Ph.D. and Mingyur Rinpoche. As well as, UCLA MARK, MAPs I, II, and Cultivating Forgiveness with Diana Winston.

What is included?

The Mindful Space School of Yoga,  200-Hour Teacher Training covers all of the main topics in teaching yoga and 100% fulfills Yoga Alliance curriculum standards.

You will receive a welcome packet with an overview of your 200-hour program upon enrollment. A supplemental reading list and suggestions for additional preparation to maximize the training experience will be sent to you. Additionally, you will receive the complete schedule and training policies. 

On the first day of the training, you will receive the detailed syllabus for the course along with the course manuals that contain materials to assist you in more deeply learning.

You will be a part of a small group of aspiring yoga teachers, some of whom may become your new community and friends. Together students will serve as an important resource for one another while we engage in a range of interactions to advance and refine our knowledge and abilities. Jorgelina will provide you with a great deal of tailored instruction and support during the course.

The experience of becoming a teacher may be profoundly transformative and deeply personal. 

At the end of the training, you will obtain a Certificate of Completion of the 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training upon successfully completing the course. With Yoga Alliance, this entitles you to become a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYS 200).

What you will Learn

  • How to teach yoga in a way that is most useful, knowledgeable, and original for you.

  • The philosophical and historical roots of yoga.

  • Essential ideas from the yoga classics, condensed for use in contemporary yoga.

  • The study of practical yoga anatomy will help you teach a wide range of students the postural aspects of yoga in a safe and enlightening manner. It will teach you how the body is structured, held together, moves, and stabilizes in a way that makes sense when teaching actual humans.

  • Through the lenses of both "yogic science" and mythology, the esoteric ideas of subtle energy anatomy—prana, chakras, nadis, granthis, mudras, and bandhas—are examined.

  • How to lead students using verbal signals that are motivating, clear, and effective; and how to do hands-on adjustments. Yoga Adjustments, as well as a great deal of direct experience throughout the training.

  • The significance of alterations and the extensive application of props, myofascial release tools, walls, blocks, straps, wedges, chairs; etc.

  • Yoga Sequencing is the ultimate resource for becoming a yoga teacher. It explains how to creatively build class sequences that produce sessions that are well-balanced, cohesive, fresh, motivating, and appropriate for various student situations and objectives.

Who is the Training for?

This course is intended for any serious yoga practitioners who want to refine and develop their own practice as well as those who want to teach yoga.

Over the years, the youngest student was 16 and the oldest was 70. There are students from many backgrounds and from all over the world. This program is intended for individuals who take their pursuit of knowledge about yoga very seriously and who are willing to go beyond the basics of yoga theory and practice to include self-discovery and an openness to the most deeply transformative experiences that yoga has to offer. It's also for people who don't mind reading, reflecting, and keeping an open mind to new concepts on a wide range of topics in life.

A Closer Look

The foundations of yoga philosophy, teaching strategies, methods for working with a wide range of students in all aspects of postural, breathing, and meditation practices, as well as numerous minor details that are important in the art and science of teaching yoga are all covered in our extensive curriculum.

"What is yoga?" is the first question we address.  Next, we delve deeply into the intricate details of a comprehensive and integrated approach, as well as the most effective ways to impart it to others.

Asana Technique and Methods of Instruction: During the longest section of the course, you will discover how to teach each of the more than 70 fundamental yoga poses in a kind and methodical manner.

You will learn in-depth about the poses' functional anatomy, alignment principles, energetic actions, risks, and benefits as well as the preparatory asanas, counterposes, variations, modifications, hands-on adjustments, and prop use. Sun Salutations, Standing Poses, Backbends, Forward Bends, Twists, Arm Balances, Inversions, Core Refinement, and Hip Openers are the main families of asanas covered in this section of the course.

We will cover the Foundations of mindfulness, meditation, history, philosophy, trauma, pranayama, energetic body,  koshas, kelshas, and more.

  3. Pay the remaining balance due on your tuition fees no later than 30 days before the start date. (Your Registration deposit counts towards your tuition.)
